Location

Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Vancouver is located in downtown Vancouver, at 510 West Hastings Street, on the 5th floor (suite 500), on the South side of Hastings, between Richards and Seymour.

We are across the street from the famous Lookout Tower and from the downtown campus of Simon Fraser University (Harbour Centre).

The building we are located in ("Standard Building") also hosts the Consulate General of Italy (11th floor).

Directions

You can easily reach us by car or transit:

By car:

• Coming from the aiport (South): follow directions to "Granville Street/City Centre", drive along Granville (7.9 km) until you reach Seymour St. Turn right onto Seymour and right again on West Hastings Street.
• Coming from the North Shore (West Vancouver): 
Follow directions to "Vancouver/Bridge", drive along Lions Gate Bridge, which becomes West Georgia Street; head left on West Pender St., then turn left on Jervis St. and right on West Hastings St.
• Coming from the North Shore (North Vancouver): From Hwy 1 go towards Vancouver; take exit #25-26/Hwy 7A toward McGillSt./Hastings St.; turn right on Hastings St. and continue driving westward until you reach 510 West Hastings.
• Coming from the East: Drive westward along East Hastings St. until you reach 510 West Hastings St.
  

By transit:

• West Coast Express, Seabus and Skytrain to terminus station "Waterfront", then walk uphill, one block South;
• Urban buses no. 5, 10, 16, 20 and suburban bus no. 135 stop in front of  the Institute, on West Hastings St.;
• Urban buses no. 4, 6, 7, 17, 19, 22 stop behind the Institute, on Pender St., as do suburban buses no. 488 and 492
• Urban buses no. 4, 6, 7, 8, 44 and 50 stop on Cordova St., one block North from the IIC.

Street parking and private parking lots are available in the area.
