Premises
The Italian Cultural Institute is located at 1023 Hilgard Avenue in a beautiful 1950s Angelino-style building in Westwood Village, designed by Robert E. Alexander, partner of Richard Neutra.
A special logo for the Los Angeles office was designed in 1985 by Walter Landor, who also created the Alitalia logo.
One of the most elegant neighborhoods of Los Angeles, Westwood Village is the home of important museums and theaters such as the Armand Hammer Museum and the recently restored Geffen Playhouse.
Located near the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the building originally housed the UCLA International Student Center and was acquired by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993. Today it has become a privileged meeting place in the Village, due to the quality of the cultural activity and Italian hospitality
